It is interesting the different things that catch our attention. Over the last few months my wife and I have been watching a program dealing with letters and numbers. It has been testing our minds as to how big a word we can make with the letters that are put in front of us each night. But the interesting thing about it all is that we have learnt about new words that we did not really know about. I guess that there is always room for new education and for more learning. Through it all we have come to appreciate just how amazing language and the written word really is. And as we develop greater skills in words and numbers it is wonderful how we have a greater variety of words that we can use. For us both it has been a real treat to learn new words and their meaning.
Letters that make up words. And words put together make a message. And as you read and learn new words and sentences it all comes together to make a message. And I cannot help but ask a question. But what do you read? What do you learn from? Is the message for good or is it leading you in a path that will bring you hurt? As we read and even as we write a send messages to each other, so may we always say something that will lift up the other person and to not pull them down. And in thinking about this I cannot help but think of the greatest message of all. And that being the message of the love of God towards us each one. A love that is very great and very real. A love that will always be there for us each one.
