Do you wonder as to what the word family means? Do you know who your family is? It is amazing how we sometimes like to look up the family tree and see where we may have come from. We may even take time to take trips to some of those places and try to reconnect with our past. In doing this it can all be exciting and fun as you find out new facts and fiction about things that have happened long ago. And in the process you can feel a new sense of family that is so special!
But on a grander scale there is something else to consider. As a person who is proud to call Australia home, yes I was born here, I cannot help but feel for those around me at this time. We know that there is an enemy in the camp. There is a virus happening and that many people are dying as a result. And as I look at the news each night, I appreciate anew that the world in which we all live can become very fragile very quickly. And this is the point. We need to be looking out for each other. We need to be more caring. You would not like to see a member of your family dying from this. And really, all of this should also apply to those who we come in contact with, whether we know them or not. Why? Because we are all part of the human family tree. We are all members of the human race! So let us be more caring please, even today!
Something for us all to ponder at this time. Until next time may you each be kept safe in His care.
