It is a simple thing Just water, just water But it comes in so many ways And that we take for granted.
Just a little cup but Oh, how refreshing it is To have that cold drink to taste And to know of a thirst refreshed.
But then there is the stream And the brook that runs so fair to feel the water so nice and cool what can be better than this!
But then I look at the ocean and consider the power thereof And appreciate anew this day That the water can come, just so far.
And as I take in that scene and hear the pounding of those waves I appreciate anew the power of 'Him' Who holds us all…..in his hands.
