When work is done
When chores are finished
We turn aside from the work of day
With weary steps we make our way
To yonder homestead where we live
And yet we know that tomorrow will come
And it all must begin again
So we take our rest and put aside
The burdens of the day.
We sit and rest
And share this time
With family neighbours and friends
And watching the sun as it sinks in the west
Time waits for no man, it is true
We can rest awhile and make new plans
Of days that lies ahead
But the best choice of all
At the end of the day
Is to end the day in 'Him.'
