We see the seasons passing
We know the time is near
That children are now singing
And the old folk sharing
Happiness all around
With laughter in the air
How we hope for better things
As we face the year ahead.
With joy we make each day
What fun is found in games
And the singing of the children
Ring out the chimes of time
Keep the bells ringing
May their song forever shine
For with our hearts in tune
Songs will forever chime.
And with the passing of each day
As we sing these songs anew
And keep the spirit of this joy
Alive in our hearts each day
But may we also look
To the One who made us so
May we sing a song to Him this day
And in His care remain.
