The way was down
The ground was reached
And the journey taken
No more to repeat
But soon all forgotten
With the passing of time
This moment is lost forever.
The race is down
Yet one by one we go
Some helped on their way
While others just go
Each in their path
Never to be repeated
With just one fall
In a moment in time.
The leaves they fall
Their show of colour gone
And the life they lived
Now passed forever in time
Yet for us that watch
With the cycle of life
Hold again the hope
Of a Saviour who cares……for His own.
