To begin, we start
And with each step
A part is played
That we must claim
So thus we plan
And count the cost
To bring this plan
To its glorious end.
And so we plan
For plan we must
For each day gathers
And each day departs
And as we plan
So may we see
And may we know
That plan for me.
As life goes by
We see life gather
And watch the dusk
That bathes its rays
With hope in our hearts
We place our plans
To lay at the feet
Of the One who knows.
