It is amazing as to how simple things can teach us a lesson. And this happened for me just a few hours ago. I thought that I would take a moment to mow the lawn. Looking at it at first glance you would wonder that I would bother to do it. After all it did look very good. So why bother? And one could think that I was being just too keen. So give the idea a rest and leave it alone.
But I did go ahead and mowed the lawn. And in doing it I had the blade at a level where you would wonder even more if I was achieving anything at all. But at the end of the event I took a moment to look at what I had done. And the end result was very good. Even though it may appeared that I was doing nothing yet the blades were cutting and the grass looked very even. I must admit that I was very pleased with the end result.
So what is the lesson for this day? Little things can make a difference. It may not have looked much, but at the end it all came up great. It made me appreciate anew how we all must do our best. And even though we may think that what we are doing is not all that much, but if we all do our part it will make the world a better place for all. So get out there and do the best that you can do. Even though it may not amount to much, what you do will make a difference to those around you. Are you doing your part? Do your part. It will make the world a better place if you do!
May you all have a good week.
