It is interesting how things can pan out. You think that you have it all worked out and then it has changed all over again. Or more to the point is the fact that you try to train the cats to do one thing and just when you think that they have it, they then go and do something that is different.
Over the time that we have had these two cats there have been attempts to have then do things in an orderly fashion. My wife has put out the food in their own bowls and that is fine. And she has tried to have them eat from the same bowl every time. It is not a hard thing to do and with time you can train animals to understand these things. And now that we have had them for about three years you would think that with time they would understand what is required. But it seems that we are still hoping for something that is a little too hard. And the reason is that they are willing to change their minds on all things…..when they want to!!
This reminds me of people. How we all can be like the cats on that score. Yes we know what is right, and we know what is required of us but then we decide that we still want to do it our own way. And the results of doing that can be rather sad at times. What a whole lot of trouble we can be spared when we do things the way that God would have us to do them.
