I guess that looking at this title you may think that you are about to hear something special but in fact that is not really the case. Looking outside it is sunny or more to the point the sun is out, but there is very little warmth to it. It is not what you would call a heatwave. But the fact is that we are in need of the washing being done and this is where the challenge comes into play.
In an act of faith I went and put out the washing. And looking out it is still sunny but the heat in the sun has gone away somewhere. Now I am not giving up on the idea, but I am hoping that the sun will still be able to do the task at hand. That being that the clothes will yet get dry. And is that possible? God willing, it may get dry yet anyway.
And this brings me to the point. Sometimes we do have to act in faith. We cannot see how what we are doing will work, but we still go ahead anyway. And sometimes that is all we have. But when you look at the Good Book that is where we all have to begin. With faith. With faith to believe that God is and that He is there for us all each day. Is it easy? No. But if we are willing to have faith and believe, then God will be there to lead us into a deeper walk with Him. Something for us all to think about for the week!
