It is amazing how you can see things along the path of life and do not take the moment to stop and to look. You may wonder as to what I am talking about and so I will start from the beginning. A couple of weeks ago I had the sermon at our church at Hamilton and then had to go across to Warrnambool.
In doing this trip there is a lookout that I have seen the signposts to and have never taken the time to have a look. Is it far off the road? No, but because time is precious I did not take the time to stop. And having done this a few times I have started to wonder as to whether I will ever stop and look. I must add to the fact that just before I get to the turnoff to go and look at the lookout there is an old and very large homestead that is just wonderful to look at on the side of the hill.
So what is the lesson from all of this? Why not take the time to have a look at the things that are around you? It may only take a few minutes and you never know what the joy is there to behold. One day I will take the time to look and I am sure that I will not be disappointed with what I see. So take a look around you at the sights that are there and enjoy them one by one. God made them and He made you too.
