I know that we have told you about our cats from time to time and what they get up to. And we all know that they get away with a lot but that is all right because we love them a lot. But with the two cats they do come in different sizes. The black one is of a slightly smaller than normal size, the other one is much larger. While he may not be quite THAT LARGE, but large enough to be awkward.
Like when we pick him up to hold, we know that we have a handful in our arms. And he feels heavy and you run out of puff very quickly holding him in your arms. And so we put him down again and tell him that he is large and that he is also awkward. It is a good thing that the cat does not know what we are saying. Mind you there are some things that he does understand and that can be scary.
So what can I learn from this? Sometimes we can feel that we are awkward and clumsy but that should not stop us from feeling loved. Just as our cat knows that he is loved so we may also know that we are loved too. And the fact is that we all are loved……by the One who made and gave us life.
