And as we speak the spider is on the wall and are we having an interesting time of it as the two cats are wondering as to how to get the thing down so that they can deal with it. Somehow during the night while we slept a big spider came into the place and is now sitting at the top of the wall. And the cats are letting us know. They do not like the idea of a spider being in their domain and the only thing to do is to be rid of that spider.
But they do have a problem. And that problem involves the fact that the spider is out of their reach and they cannot touch it. And I am sure that the spider is well aware of that fact as well. As we look on, it appears that the spider is looking down, and from time to time waving a little leg or two at the cats. But the cats are not into having a chat with another member of the animal kingdom. All they want to do is to destroy that spider.
It reminds me a little bit about people. We are sometimes not all that eager for change or for meeting people that we feel that we do not want to be a part of. After all, they do not look the same way as us or they do not speak the same way as us and so we pass them by. And that can be to our loss. Remember we can all learn from others, whether they be young or old.
