When I got up this morning I thought that it would be an easy day. That there were only a few things that had to be done and then all would be well. And so I went down the street to get the things done. And yes, all did go well to begin with. And in going around to the various places it was all going well for me.
But then I learned that what begins well may not always end that way. I was at a supermarket and I was getting out of the place when the car died on me. I tried to get it to start but there was no going for the car. It was a case of phoning for help, and then there was the wait. And wait I did.
But in the end help did come and in the end the car was taken off to be fixed. And there was a further wait while the car was being looked at. So what is the lesson in all of this? Sometimes what we plan for does not always come to pass. In all of this we must learn to be patient and to know that there are some things that we cannot control. If we remember that fact and try to be a little more patient with each other what a better place this world can be.
