How much we all know about these words. We hear them so often and you have to wonder sometimes where the truth begins and ends. But there are the few moments when the one who is doing the complaining is caught out. And when that happens it can be rather funny.
The fact of the matter is that this not only applies to humans but it can apply to animals as well. As you all know we have a couple of cats. The first two that we had have passed away and after a short spell we now have two more. And yes, I must remember the one that we only have for a very short period of time but was sadly taken away from us in death. But we now have two that get along very well most of the time. But now and then there are moments when it appears that one is picking on the other and usually it would appear to be one sided. At least that is how the smaller one would like to have us think. And very often she is quick to get the message across that "He picked on Me!"
Usually we would believe that to be the case. And so the bigger one would get a scolding, until the day that we caught the smaller one red handed. It was not just one way after all. She was guilty of starting some of the capers and that maybe she was not Miss innocent after all. It was quite amazing to watch her reaction when she knew that she was caught out. She would give to us her most innocent look with the expression of "Why do you not believe me?" "Sorry, Little one, but the truth is now out." But how often we can all be like her and try to get away with it. And then when we get caught we still try to makes ourselves look good anyway. I guess it shows what type of world we are living in, even among the animal kingdom as well. Something for us all to ponder for the week.
