Down here in this wonderful land we are in the time of Spring.
In this time we are seeing anew the new growth and the colour of the leaves as they shoot and grow.
As we take a walk on the surrounding areas we find the new growth wonderful to see. There are the new green leaves and the golden flowers of the wattle and it all reminds us that we are in the time of spring. For down here in our part of the world it has been a wonderful winter and the crops are looking good. And with the new growth happening so many ways we cannot help but feel that life is good and that each new day is worth holding onto. We have been feeding baby magpies and their parents and to hear them squabbling and going on makes for an ever changing colour of each day. What joy! What happiness! It is spring time and everything is looking brighter and happier. Looking out across the hills from where I live, they are looking so much greener at this time. And I know that soon I will hear the smell of hay being made. Yes, it is spring and soon it will be summer time.
So what is there to learn from this. Just as spring follows winter and with it comes hope for a better day, so too does the hope of the second coming follow the sadness and the sin of this world. One day there will be a new beginning and what a day that will be. it will be exciting and wonderful. And we all can be a part of that day too, if we choose that for ourselves.
