As the weather starts to warm up we know that summer is getting closer and that is a good thing for us all. And with the coming of spring there are new smells that we love to enjoy every year when they come.
I guess growing upon a farm you look for it all the more. I am thinking of the smell of grass that is freshly cut silage and then later for hay. All these things remind me of the fact that the year is getting closer to the end. And with springtime there is also the sound of the new babies within the birdlife that we see around us. All of these things tell us of a new season that is upon us.
So what does this all mean to us today. As we see the passing of the seasons I am reminded of the words of Matthew chapter 24 of the Bible.
