Now this may seem like a rather strange title to have but read on and you will get the picture.
It seems that time goes by very quickly now but when I was growing up it all seemed to be a little bit different. It seemed that school went for ever and that the holidays were all too quickly over. At least that was how it was for me anyway. Growing up on a farm there were things to do and that was the way that it was.
But then the holidays would come and going to school was at an end for a couple of weeks. For me it was a little sad as it is for any child when the time of the holidays are coming to an end. I can still hear my Dad telling me that it would soon be time to get back to school on Monday. How we all loved to hear those words! But the fact of life was that Monday did come and so the time of holidays were at an end.
So what is the point of this. It just goes to show that time does not stand still. That the days do come and go and we are all having to make our way through life the best way that we can. But wait. We need not despair as if we do not have hope for a better future. For there is coming a day when all that we know will be done away with and the King of Glory will take control for ever. A new life and a new beginning. Now that is something for us all to look forward to…..and may it come soon.
