I guess that you may wonder as to what I am getting at here but read on and you will understand.
Because of what I do in the church that I am apart of there are times of travelling involved for me. And I do enjoy seeing the changing of the landscape as I travel along.
This last weekend I was in Warrnambool and travelling there from where I live was an very enjoyable experience to have. As a friend puts it so well, it would appear that the farmers have very nicely mowed lawns (the paddocks). But as I went along this time I could not help but notice how special Mount Elephant looked. All around at the base of it was a crop that had been planted that was just shooting up. And as I went over early on the Friday morning there was a mist and low cloud cover that hid from view the top of the mount. It did look special. It made me appreciate anew how blessed we are to have a wonderful country to live in. And yes, to see the wonderful view that I saw, it all cost me nothing to look at it.
The point for us all to think about is this. That as we travel along may we appreciate that all we see is a free gift for us all to look at and enjoy. May we all enjoy the view this day and every day.
