The summer has gone and we are now getting into the autumn mode. And at this time what is called day light saving time has also come to an end. But with this time there are also changes that take place.
Let me share those changes with you. The sun becomes a little less warm. With daylight saving gone the nights comes in a little sooner. And we also like to think that the rain will come a little more often. And with the rain this means that the country will look a little greener. I guess what I like about where we live is that you do get to appreciate the four seasons. You appreciate the heat of the summer and the cold of the winter.
But as the season take place it also reminds us that we really do not have much say over what takes place around us. We are all at the mercy of the elements. But there is one other thing that I am reminded of and that being that above all of this there is one above that is still in control of all things. That it is He who is control of the seasons and the things that takes place around us.
And here is the thing. The seasons may change but the one above us does not change. We can depend upon Him and while we are in His care, then we are very safe. Something for us all to consider for this day.
