And so the trip began. There we were on the road heading up the highway for the big event of the funeral of a much loved Aunt. And the trip did go well for us all.
It is amazing as to what you see along the way and the signs that catch the eye. And the people that you meet that you have not seen for a while. It all makes the event all the more special. And what a special time we all did have as we caught up with one another. There were many highlights and these all made up for the fact that we were there to say a final farewell for a much loved person.
I guess for me there was that one special moment that I will treasure. And that being the 'Old Herse' that was up front. It was a Mercedes that would have been about 1985 to an 1988 vintage and it was very big and long. It certainly had the wow factor and you could not help but fall in love with the old car. I guess that what it does is show that we are all getting older or something.
But now the trip is over and we are now home. And the cats were pleased to see that we were home with them again. It reminds me of the fact that home is the most special place on earth. How true that is. Home is such a special place and how we all long to be there. But what we all need to also remember is that there is a very special place that awaits for us all who choose to be faithful to the one who made us and loves us all.. And that when He finally returns He will then take us to that place that he has prepared for those who are faithful. And then the trials of life will be fully over at last.
