I guess that looking at this heading you may wonder as to what I am getting at. How can you join together two things that are so opposite to each other. What would a sparrow and an tip have in common?
Let me explain the whole matter. A few days ago I had to take a trip to the tip to get rid of a load of green waste. There is nothing wrong with that and so there I was in the car at the station where the person in charge tells you where to go and how much to pay. The office where the person is standing is up a little higher to the car and you speak to him through an open window.
And so it was arranged how much to pay and where I was to take the load when just at that moment there came a sparrow to the open window and sat on the ledge. The young person who was there spoke to the sparrow and quickly got a few crumbs of his bread and placed them on his hand for the sparrow. It was a special moment when the sparrow hopped onto his hand and took the small piece of bread that was there for her.
What a beautiful sight it was and what a lesson there for us all. Just as the sparrow trusted the young man to give her the bread and to not hurt her, so our Heavenly Father wishes that we would do the same for Him each day. That we would be willing to come to Him in trust, knowing that He is there for us each one. And yes, that also applies to you also. He is there for you and He is wanting that you would believe in that and put your trust in Him both this and every day
