Can you relate to this heading that is here? Do you know what it means to be prepared? It is amazing how we all fall into the trap of thinking that we are all prepared until the event comes that shows us how unprepared we all really are.
This event only happened last night when we were coming home after a meeting from our church. It is amazing how you can see things that can throw you off course. We were going home when my wife said that she had just seen a Wallaby. When you take into consideration where we were it all becomes a little strange. You do not see such things this close to Ballarat. That is what we were thinking anyway.
And then the idea was put that we need to contact someone who could help the situation. But who? And how could we contact them. I should admit that I thought that the mobile was at home but then found that it was with us in my pocket. Don't laugh! I am sure that you have done the same.
At this point we had to go back to see if we could find the thing but we could not. And then there was the question for finding that person or persons that could help. By the time we got onto the right person we were told that they had already been informed and that someone was still watching the animal at that moment.
Lesson! Be prepared. We now have the phone number for the people who we need in our mobile and if it ever happened again we will know what to do. And when you think about it, how we need to do that for all things in life and beyond…..To be prepared.
