It is amazing how you may take a trip and then you do not go that way for a long time and then all of a sudden you find that you have to take a trip along that road a few times in a quick time. This was our experience this last few days. We have made a purchase and to collect the item we have had to make a trip to Bendigo. Now as I mentioned in the first sentence we have done this trip many years ago, but then we did not have the need to do it again for the last 25 years.
And so here we are doing this trip and we thought that this was wonderful to start with. But then we have been having problems with the item we had purchased and this resulted in having to do more than one trip. In fact come tomorrow it will be our third trip in a couple of weeks. Hopefully this will be our last trip for a while. But I ask the question, has this ever happened to you? Can you relate to any of this?
So where is the lesson in all of this? It is a simple one. None of us know what the future holds from day to day. You think that you have it all planned out and that it will all go well. But then something happens and you find that more time is needed on this project. Which reminds me, none of us really know what the future holds. But there is one thing I do know. That being, of the One who holds tomorrow……and I know that He is willing to hold onto you and to guide you along the pathway of life. Now that is good news for today.
