I guess that we all can be a little slow at times. But in the end we all can get the point. It is best to do things when you are given the chance to do so and to not play around thinking that all will fall into place in your time. I guess that this can all sound a little hard to understand but all will be revealed in a moment. As a matter of fact this lesson has just taken place a few moments ago.
This lesson in life deals with one little cat who thinks that because she is soooo pretty that she can do things when she likes and that all will fall into place for her. But today my beloved got the point across to her that sometimes this idea may not work out the way that she thinks that it should. It all involved the act of eating her food. Little Miss Liddy thought that she could have just a couple of licks and that she could come back later and do it all over again and again and again. We had to get the point across to her that it did not work this way and that there was another brute in the house was ever so eager to eat her share and more. Finally….after a little help from us it seems that even for this little one the point has gotten home to eat her food.
You know, there is something about all of this that reminds me of the nature of humanity. That we all can be slow learners at times. But the point is that we must learn. And we must be willing to learn as well. What are you learning today? Are you learning anything today? There is one lesson that we would do well to learn. That we are loved by our Creator. That He was willing to do all to save us. And the one thing He is longing for is to see you with Him in heaven. Now that is something that we can all learn!
