The other day I saw something that reminded me a little of what heaven will be like. In the paper I saw an old tiger having a splash in the water and his keeper was there with him. In reading the words that went with the picture I was to discover that the tiger was old and losing his sight. As a result he was trusting in the voice of his keeper and the keeper would help him into the water and was there with him. The keeper said that the tiger would always respond to her voice and to her touch.
As I looked at the picture I appreciated anew how special heaven will be. That nothing will get old. That all things will remain healthy. And that with all things there will be peace and joy. You see, no matter how special the moment was that the keeper was having with the tiger the fact is that the tiger is old and that one day this beautiful animal will die.
Again, all I can say is that heaven will be special. And for us all the invitation is given that we can be there, if we are willing to give our hearts to the One who is Lord over all.
