It is amazing how that sometimes that you look at things and it brings to your mind a memory that makes have a smile. This week I have been reflecting on a memory that I do remember and yes, I do have a smile. This goes back to when I was very young. Our family had purchased a Barbie and we were going to try it out. And so we went to a place that we thought would be good and where we could have a good picnic with our Barbie.
So we set the thing up and collected the wood and the paper to get it started. And get it started we did. Never in my life have I ever seen lamb chops get cooked so quickly. Looking back now upon it all I cannot help but laugh. After all what else can you do? As one would say an experience like this makes up the spice of life and adds colour to one's life and gives memories that you treasure in years to come.
Memories! How special they all can be. But the greatest memory to have is to remember that you are loved. To remember that not only are you loved by your family but that you are also loved by the One who made you and gave you life….God. When we try and do away with that we can so quickly end up in all types of strife. Memories are good to have, and may we also take the time to remember the One who gave all that we may have hope.
Something for us all to ponder at this time. Until next time may you each be kept safe in His care.
