Last weekend I was over at Warrnambool and took in the wonderful scenes of nature that was on offer. There was the rolling of the sea and the calling of the birds. All of this was a reminder that we have a wonderful creator and that we are in good hands with Him. At one point I was sitting looking out to sea and appreciating the fact that somewhere beyond the waves there was a land that is part of another country, another land. That between us was this water and that this water was the one thing that was keeping us apart.
When you stop and think about it, what an amazing God we worship that with something as simple as the ocean can keep people apart. Sure we may now have planes that take us there but the water still plays a vital part in keeping people apart. Then walking further along the pathway I saw other things that would remind us that we have a God of love. To see the birds calling to each other, to watch the rabbits hopping and eating. To each in their own way, doing their own thing, and yet we are reminded that the One who is above all things provides for them all.
And for us all there is a point to consider. Just as our Father in heaven provides for these animals and birds so He also provides for us as well today. That is the promise that is given in His word. So take and read His word today and believe that He will take care of you too. And He will if you would only put your trust in Him, each and every day.
Something for us all to ponder at this time. Until next time may you each be kept safe in His care.
