The day has come and I am not so sure whether it is a wonderful thing or not. It would appear that the cat and I have something in common. The point is that we are both another year older. The cat is going to be a four year old and I will be a bit older. I must admit that as I consider this thing that I am trying to be happy about it. But the point is that we cannot turn back the clock.
But as I consider the point that I am another year older I am reminded of the ones that I know who have not reached the age that I am now. And when I think about that fact I find that I look at my age in a different light. That every birthday is a gift that we should not take for granted. And so I take a fresh look at this special day and be glad that I am still here.
The point of all of this. That how we all need to appreciate each day that we are given and that we do not take anything for granted. Do you take things for granted? May I put to you that you, do not. You see, every day is a gift and that we should not take the gift for granted. So take in each moment that you are given and give thanks to the One above for all that you have.
