You may wonder as to what this is all about. What am I supposed to be watching? Is there something happening that I need to know about? I guess that if you have been watching the news you would know that there is an important event happening this weekend and that being the wedding of the year that is happening in London. It would seem that there are many people who are very excited about the event and why not. As someone said it is nice to have good news for a change.
But here is a point to ponder. We all know when the event will take place. We all know that it is happening this weekend. For a lot of us we will be watching the event on television. And I am sure that many people will enjoy the event. But with the event and the news surrounding it I am reminded of another event that is taking place. And this event will be much larger to the one we are seeing this weekend.
And the question for us to consider is, what event am I talking about? How about the coming of our Master in the clouds of heaven. Will you be ready for that event when it happens? We are all being told about it in the Bible. And from the reading of the Bible we can know that it will be soon. If you have the time take a read of Matthew 24 and let your mind take in the truth of that chapter.
