Do you know what it is like to be watched? And in being watched you have many eyes that are looking upon you with a desire that is plain for you to see. At this moment we are rather chilly and cold. And looking in at us there are many eyes who are thinking that we could do the right thing and give them some wheat.
What am I talking about? Sitting outside on a little tree there are many sparrows who know that we will give to them some wheat. The amazing thing is that they only come around in the autumn and winter months. And right now they are looking in through the window and giving to me the hint that they think that it is feeding time. I am trying to ignore them at the moment for I know that feeding time is still ahead. But no one has told the sparrows that fact and so they are making their little voices to be heard.
It reminds me of a fact that we are being watched from above at all times. And the One above us is seeing all that we do with greater interest than that of the sparrows. Now that is a challenge for us all to consider as we go through each day.
