It is amazing how we try and try again to teach the cats the way to behave. Sometimes they seem to get it and sometimes they can be a little bit slow. And even when we have to restrict the cat and hope that he gets the point it seems that gets it for a little while and then we have to begin all over again. I guess the thing that gives us hope is that with the passing of time he is getting the point a little better and remembers a little longer. Yippeeeee! But then I am reminded of a point that we all don't like to admit. That sometimes we all can be slow learners too. We try to remember and then we forget and we have to ask the person who we are dealing with to forgive and to give us another chance. And how special it is when we are given another chance to improve. And we do for a while and then we sometimes fall again only to have to need to ask for another chance again.
But then I remember our Father in Heaven who loves us and is there for us each one. And how patient He is when we are slow learners too. But how important it is that we are trying to learn and that we put into practice what He would have us to do.
