I guess that looking at the title you may wonder as to where this is going. But the point is that we are all so guilty of taking things for granted. I know that I can at times, and that is not good. The other day I was going over the countryside and saw a sight that was beautiful to behold. I was heading past a mountain known as Mount Elephant. A couple of months before I had been passed it and it did look special with the yellow canola flowers looking their best. But it had now been harvested and going over this time the area looked that yellow kind of colour and in the background there were storm clouds over head. The contrast was a sight to behold!
As I took in the sight I am reminded of the fact that we do live in a world of colour. And the master of that is God Himself. And what is even better is the fact that we can see it all for nothing. It is a free gift for us all to enjoy, if only we take the time to enjoy it. And we can enjoy it as we take the time to look.
Which brings me to a question. When was the last time that you bothered to look and see that wonderful painting that God has put for us to look at every day? It is a wonderful painting and it is there for us to enjoy. So why not take a moment and enjoy what God has put on display for us all this day…..
