How time goes by and we are now into the new year. And already we are coming to the end of the first week of 2018. And what has this week done for you? Do you feel any richer? Or are you wondering if things are going to go your way. It can always be the way when you start anything new and that includes the new year as well.
But in the middle of this week I found that I had to do a trip to Melbourne. The trip went well and what I was doing down there went well as well, and I came home with the information that I needed. But as the train pulled out of the station for the trip home I was very grateful that I do not live in the city of Melbourne. Give me the country anytime! But as I walked around Melbourne I took in for a moment the windows of Myer. How special it all was and how special it was to still see on that final window the birth of Jesus being portrayed. And for all who looked at the windows I pray that they also looked and considered the meaning of that final window.
And what is the meaning of this window you may ask? The answer is very simple. The other windows may give fun and laughter but it is only that final window that can give hope to the world. So for today may we consider that hope and allow it to come into all our hearts for the year ahead. Remember….we all do need hope. So may we take that hope that is offered for us all at this time and may the year ahead of you all be a good one…
Something for us all to consider at this time. Until next time may you each be kept safe in His care.
