I guess that for many that this title may seem a little strange. And yet there is a reason for what I am going to say. I guess that as you start to get older that you realise how fragile life can be and that we need to know that we are safe in the care of a loving saviour. It was a little over a few months ago that a dear friend passed away because of an accident that took place. No, it was not a car accident but rather it was a case of him and his wife going out for tea and somehow they tripped over each other going up the steps into the place where they were going to eat out at, and a few days later he was dead.
But now the wife is in trouble with her health and it would seem that maybe we will be saying goodbye to her soon. In all of this it reminds me that life is a fragile thing and that we do not take it for granted. And with that comes the question as to what is really important for us each one. Do we really know where we are heading or are we just hoping for the best. At a time like this how we all need to know our saviour.
And for all of you who are reading this this week, then maybe it may be a good thing to ask the question as to what you really think your fate will be at the end of time. The reason that we need to think of this is that there will come a day when time will be no more. Then what? And the reality is that no one knows when that day will be. So the truth is that now is the appointed time that we each do have. So let us make the best of it and hold onto the one who made us each one. How we all need to know Jesus and hold fast to Him each day. Something for us all to think about at this time.
