Over the last few weeks we have been watching a show on T.V. replayed on the YouTube, where young people are performing and hoping to win a prize. It has been interesting to watch the judges and to hear their comments as they go through the show. And for those who are going through the process I am sure that they are giving it their all and hoping for the prize that will change their lives forever. And it is amazing how they put so much into it and you cannot help but admire them for what they are trying to achieve.
But as the weeks go by you find the different ones that are being told to go home. And for some of them the reason is very simple. They were determined to do their own thing and to not listen to what the judges were saying to them. To put it very simply they were going to do it their own way. Because of this type of thinking they were coming undone.
In thinking about this I believe that there is a lesson for us all today. That we all are willing to listen to the voice of the judge and be willing to follow the advice that he or she gives. And you know something. The same applies to the Great Judge in heaven. How we need to be willing to listen to Him and to follow the advice that He gives to us each and every day. A simple question for you to consider for this day. Are you willing to listen to the voice of The Judge in your own lives? And if you do, you will be led on the path that will lead you to be with Him in heaven above. Something to think about.
